Spencer Main Street, Inc., is a certified member of the OCRA Downtown Affiliate Network. That's ODAN, for short.

What does it mean to be an ODAN?

Being an ODAN connects us to Indiana Main Street and OCRA resources, training, technical assistance, networking opportunities, and tools designed to help communities strenghten their downtowns.

For Spencer Main Street, that means we're working toward:

• Creating and supporting events that bring people to downtown Spencer

• Supporting existing businesses and strengthening our downtown economy

• Promoting downtown Spencer as a destination to shop, dine, and visit

• Improving our Historic Courthouse Square through design (hanging baskets! railroad beds!), placemaking, and community projects

• Learning from other Main Street communities by sharing ideas and best practices

• Building our capacity so that we can help downtown Spencer take the next steps

Anyone can join us at the table. If you're a business owner, property owner, resident, or someone who cares about downtown Spencer, we welcome you!
