Spencer Main Street actively supports the many events happening in our little corner of the world. However, the pandemic has caused many events to be understandably shortened or canceled this year.

When life gets back to normal, watch for announcements for the PRIDE Festival, REV20 Festival, Chalk It Up, Farm-to-Table Dinner, Christmas at the Square, and more.

Spencer Main Street has been actively involved in sprucing up a nine-block area surrounding the Court House.

Historic Liars Bench

The courthouse square in Spencer has a new “liar’s bench” on the corner, giving storytellers a location to spin their tales.

A wooden bench was located on this site from the late 1930s to the early 2000s.

Contributions: SMS, OCRA, IOTD, Sweet Owen CVB, OCCF, Spencer VFW Post 1405, and Babbs.
